The N, NW winds have started subsiding today giving place to a rice in temperature (36 ̊C at 14:00). I visited the Kalloni Salt Pans in the morning (didn’t perform a complete count, though). Here is what I found:

4 Μαυροπελαργοί (Ciconia nigra)
8 Ποταμοσφυριχτές (Charadrius dubius), 3 Θαλασσοσφυριχτές (Ch. alexandrinus)
1 Ραβδοσκαλίδρα (Limnicola falcinellus)
7 Σταχτιές Νανοσκαλίδρες (Calidris temminckii), 5 Νανοσκαλίδρες (C. minuta)
12 Λασπότρυγγες (Tringa glareola), 4 Δασότρυγγες (T. ochropus)
5 Ακτίτες (Actitis hypoleucos), 80+ Κοκκινοσκελήδες (Tringa totanus)
3 Πρασινοσκελήδες (Tringa nebularia), 1 Βαλτότρυγγας (T. stagnatilis)
2 Τουρλίδες (Numenius arquata)
