Eleonora’s Falcon (Michael Sveikutis)

The island is packed with shrikes (Red-backed being the most numerous) and Eleonora’s falcons are now being seen as flyovers regularly. Many flycathers are around the western parts.
A Terek Sandpiper was seen!
NOTE: It’s Orthodox Easter on Sunday, Monday is also a holiday and so is Tuesday (the “May 1st” will be celebrated then, a common practice here when it happens to be in the week before Easter…).
