Scops Owls in place

During a windy day yesterday I made a stop at the usual place outside Kalloni to search for some Scops Owls, with not much hope. All the time I was searching around I was listening to tits giving alarm calls and, trying to avoid causing disturbance to them as they should already be nesting, I tried to keep away from the tree they were heard from. As I was heading back to the car it struck me: they were giving alarm calls for an owl was around! I approached the tree, saw 2 Scops Owls staring at me with eyes wide open (yeah!) took 2-3 quick shots of only the one and went away really really happy.
