HI Eleni, It’s great news that you will be at the “Bird Fair” promoting the environmental splendour of your wonderful island. As one of the premier birding sites in Europe it’s overdue that both the national and local government agencies have not invested in a stand of their own to promote the environmental work that is carried out both locally and nationally. It puts many other European states to shame. Lesbos stands out as a beacon proving how good environmental practice can have a very beneficial effect on tourism and in turn the local economy.
