A passing Eagle

On November 17 morning, as counting the Kalloni Salt Pans birds far up from my usual hilltop I was thrilled to spot a White-tailed Eagle. It was rather easy as the whole of the present birds in the pans (even the Pelicans!!) were scared and flying around- an amazing thing to see.

The young bird caught a fish and dropped it and then got a fish and landed to have its meal. I found the once again on 20/11. It must have continued his journey south or to one of the major wetlands of the nearby coast of Turkey.
