Here are some observations of passing birds from Hanneke Hendricks that was based in Eressos:

3 Purple Herons (Ardea purpurea)

Kalloni Saltpans

3 Stone Curlews (Burhinus oedicnemus), 1 Curlew (Numenius arquata),

1 Slender-billed Gull (Croicocephalus genei), 1 Common Tern (Sterna hirundo), 1 Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybridus)

1 Sand Martin (Riparia riparia), 1 Tawny Pipit (Anthus campestris)

1 Lesser Spotted Eagle (Clanga pomarina), 2 Lesser Kestrels (Falco naummanni)

1 Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia), 2 Tawny Pipits (Anthus campestris)

near Eressos

1 Blue Rock Thrush (Monticola solitarius)

Eressos- Sigri track (Tsichliontas River)

1 Black Kite (Milvus migrans), 1 Eleonora’s Falcon (Falco eleonorae)

Numerous Wheathears, Red-backed Shrikes (Lanius collurio), several Common Redstarts (Phoenicurus phoenicurus). Hardly any Buntings seen but 1 Cirl Bunting and 2 Corn Buntings.

1 Rufous-tailed Scrub Robin (Cercotrichas galactotes)
