I had this Pygmy Cormorant (Microcabro pygmeus) fly over me yesterday (19/2) at Dipi-Larsos reedbed, by Gera Gulf. Also seen a single bird (have a more distant photo than this) on 11/2.

First, distant impression: a briskly flying, beak-less Cormorant!

I make stops everytime I pass from there in search for my first House Martins for this Spring- still in vain.
