A few days ago we were informed by a Bulgarian rehabilitation center about the presence of a young White-tailed Eagle (Haliaetus albicilla) with a GPS transmitter on Lesvos. The bird had fallen off its nest and was treated, tagged and released last September.
This morning Stelios Zannetos was able to go and spot the bird finding it in very good condition! Let’s hope it continues to survive well!
