Σήμερα, με νοτιά και συννεφιά, στα λιβάδια γύρω από την Αλυκή Καλλονής (νέες αφίξεις…):

22 Χουλιαρόπαπιες (Anas clypeata)- μόλις έφτασαν από τη θάλασσα!

2 Καλαμοκανάδες (Himantopus himantopus)

6 Τουρλίδες (Numenius arquata)- σε ένα κοπαδάκι

2 Μαυροπελαργοί (Ciconia nigra)- ο 1 νέος στην περιοχή

30 Σπιτοχελίδονα (Delichon urbicum)

1 Τσαλαπετεινός (Upupa epops)- ο 1ος μου για φέτος την Άνοιξη

South wind today and overcast sky, expecting rain later in the day. Visiting the fields around the Kalloni Pans I found the following new arrivals:

22 Shovelers (Anas clypeata)- just coming out of the sea!

2 Black-winged Stilts (Himantopus himantopus)

6 Curlews (Numenius arquata)- in a single flock

2 Black Storks (Ciconia nigra)- 1 bird is a newcomer

30 House Martins (Delichon urbicum)

1 Hoopoe (Upupa epops)- my 1st for this Spring
